Shed Season

With rifle season closed, and the feeder full. Its time to start taking inventory of the bucks that survived hunting season and will hopefully grow into targets for next season. All of these bucks will be the target of serious shed hunting this spring. The 9 and 10 pointers have been in the area all season. While the 8 point with the teardrop off his right mainbeam first came on camera in early November. The bottom picture is a buck that I have a few pictures of, but none are very good. This is probably the best one I have had all season. He definitely has something funky going on. Next season looks promising. The only bad news up to this this point is I still have no sightings of my target from the past two years, The Boss. Its early in winter and he definitely has a taste for corn so I am holding out hope that he is still around.
