The 1 Yard Buck

The night these pictures were taken I had this buck literally at 1 yard.  Hence the name.  He never really posed for the camera but these pictures give you a decent idea of what kind of buck he is.  He reminds me a lot of the buck I shot last year.  A dark horned eight point, but he had a cool inside point on his left main beam that you can't see.  I had an awesome night in the stand with 15 to 20 deer all within bow range.  Some like this buck that I could have jumped out of my stand onto his back.  It almost got to be stressful not being able to move with that many eyes watching.  The food plots definitely have the deer pounding them.
