We're getting ready to plant the food plot. We didn't have a lot of seed so I got the job of riding on the back of the drill to make sure all the holes were full. I planted alfalfa feast. Its a mix of alfalfa and chickory. I mainly picked this because I should get 3 to 5 years out of it and its drought tolorant. Between seed cost and renting a no-till drill from the county extension office it would get to expensive to do this every year at this point. I got a good stand and there have been deer tracks all over it. It never got tall enough to get a good picture of it this fall. All of the plants are still small.
